Despite the global COVID-19 pandemic that has wrecked 2020, various industries have seemed to increase their artificial intelligence (AI), with the healthcare and medical industry leading the increase with forty-four percent of respondents answering as such. It is rather interesting that the high tech and telecommunications industry was on the other end of the spectrum with only twenty-four percent of respondents seeing an increase in AI investment in their companies in 2020.
