In 2019, in India, an adult patient in the intensive TB treatment phase and weighing 25 to 34 kilos received a four fixed dosage comabination of two tablets a day. A TB patient in the same weight group in the continuation phase also received a three fixed dosage combination of two tablets.
In 2019, as per the Technical Expert Group (NTEG) on Treatment of TB and technical expert group on paediatric TB, the dosage for drug sensitive treatment of tuberculosis, the TB dosage based on weight categories was revised.
