As of the second quarter of 2023, the expenditure and net lending of Ghana's government added up to nearly 33 billion Ghana cedis (GHS) (approximately 2.76 billion U.S. dollars). The accumulated public spending and net lending registered an increase from 35.4 billion GHS (about 2.96 billion U.S. dollars) in the second quarter of 2022.
