According to the survey conducted on health tourism in Thailand from February to June 2019, 44.31 percent of respondents aged 25 and 34 came to Thailand for wellness purposes. This was followed by respondents aged between 15 and 24 years.

The survey was conducted in medical facilities in Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Mae Hong Son, Saraburi, and Nhong Kai province, and in Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang International Airport, and Phuket International Airport.
