Economically active population in Tunisia 2015-2019
In 2019, the economically active population in Tunisia exceeded 4.1 million, representing around 35 percent of the entire population. The number of economically active people, including employed and job-seekers, increased from 2015 onwards. In the same period, employed individuals constituted the majority of the active population in the country.
