According to a survey conducted in 2019 in Colombia, games of chance were the type of gambling activity with the greatest participation among the Colombians surveyed. While 82 percent of respondents said they occasionally gamble in chance games, 62 percent stated to have done so in the month prior to the survey. In addition, 23 percent of respondents reported playing Baloto in the previous six months, while the same percentage said they had participated in raffles.
