According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on dietary supplements in Singapore conducted in March 2022, 63 percent of respondents 16 to 254 years old who took dietary supplements or nutraceuticals stated that their frequency of taking them increased after the outbreak of COVID-19. In comparison, 61 percent of those 55 years and older said that their supplement consumption did not increase after COVID-19.
