According to a survey that is conducted in September 2020, 56 percent of Indonesian female respondents stated that they did not follow the COVID-19 health protocols because there was no sanction as the consequence of not following it. As of October 13, 2020, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia amounted to 336,716 and the number had been increasing since Indonesia had its first COVID-19 case in March 2020.
