In Italy, the average prices of consumer goods increased by 1.5 percent in the first part of 2020, if compared with the same period of the previous year. In line with the forecast, prices will drop to 0.2 percent in the first half of 2021. However, in the second half of 2021, the average prices of consume goods will slightly grow by 0.1 percent.

Data for 2020 refer to sales reported until September 27, 2020.
