Chocolate is the first food French people go to in times of stress or unhappiness. It therefore not a surprise to see that, when asked about the best time to eat chocolate, over 60 percent of French people declared that every occasion is appropriate for doing so. Respondents then also mentioned Christmas and Easter as the main holidays associated with chocolate consumption.
