In the second half of the fiscal year 2022, China was by far the leading country of origin for JIFFA's cargo imports to Japan, accounting for about 50 percent. This number corresponded to around 18.53 million revenue tons. Total cargo imports to Japan by JIFFA members amounted to approximately 36.79 million revenue tons in this period.
