During the first half of 2020, Brazil's startup market experienced 44 mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Of those M&A deals, 26 were saw by B2B startups, while 12 involved B2C startups. In September 2019, the leading Brazilian startup business type was B2B, with almost 49 percent of all new startups adopting it.
