Confinement measures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic severely restricted the movement of citizens of several Latin American countries. In Brazil, the level of physical activity by adolescents fell dramatically with the coronavirus outbreak. According to a survey conducted in the South American country, nearly 41 percent of adolescents participating in the study were considered physically inactive before the pandemic, in contrast to 93 percent during this crisis.
