According to a market report about online dating in China released in 2019, about 56 percent of the users of dating and matchmaking apps stated that they had not upgraded to a premium account because they found the premium functions not attractive enough. The same report found out that almost a quarter of app users open the dating apps on their phone at least six times everyday.
