Among the various possible reasons for committing insurance fraud in France, not informing the insurer of a change in the situation or an added risk is a strategy that can be used when subscribing to an insurance contract. However, while 84 percent of respondents had never used this practice, eight percent of people in France surveyed had already committed this type of fraud at least once in 2019.
