As of August 2023, the average amount Spaniards spend on their textbooks for the school year 2023/2024 is around 310 euros. Since 2017, the price students have to pay for their textbooks has increased significantly. Overall, students in Spain were confronted with a back-to-school cost of almost 450 euros in 2023.
