In a survey published in 2021, approximately 28 percent of young people declared to have sent nudes or pictures with sexual content. On the contrary, 72 percent of respondents declared the opposite.
In Italy, sharing private sexual images or videos of a person without their consent is a crime. In a recent survey, a large share of respondents - and especially female interviewees - considered Italy's draft law against the Revenge Porn as a social achievement.
The survey question was phrased by the source as follows: "Hai mai inviato foto intime o a sfondo sessuale?".
