The high number of people infected by coronavirus both worldwide and nationally has generated an increase in fear of contagion among the Spanish population. As of March 13, 2020, some 38 percent of Spaniards were concerned about a potential contagion of COVID-19, and just four weeks later the figure was around 50 percent, according to the latest data from a study international made by YouGov.
