According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in April 2023, approximately 74 percent of respondents in Taiwan stated that they would continue ordering food deliveries online as often even after restaurants and dining establishments are open and social distancing measures due to the COVID-19 outbreak are lifted. The same survey showed that Food Panda was the most popular food delivery app in Taiwan.
