According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in April 2023, approximately 78 percent of respondents in Hong Kong aged between 25 and 34 stated that they would continue ordering food deliveries online as often even after restaurants and dining establishments are open and social distancing measures due to the COVID-19 outbreak are lifted. The oldest respondents were the least likely to continue using food delivery apps as often.

249 respondents aged 16 to 24 years old,
886 respondents aged 25 to 34 years old,
898 respondents aged 35 to 44 years old,
488 respondents aged 45 to 54 years old,
313 respondents aged 55 years and above.
