Following the cancellation of the Liga MX Clausura 2020 as a result of the health contingency established in Mexico due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mexicans had the opportunity to continue watching the tournament, this time digitally. During the virtual version of the Liga MX, 33.43 percent of viewers in the North American country were between four and 18 years old.
The Liga MX Clausura 2020 tournament was suspended by the Mexican Football Federation as a result of the health contingency established due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An eSports tournament was then launched as an alternative to bring the tournament to the audience this season.
