In 2020, Tesco had the most popular online platform in the United Kingdom (UK) for food and groceries shopping online amongst respondents from all age groups. Over half of the respondent between 35 and 44 shopped online for food and groceries at Tesco, at 52 percent. Approximately 42 percent of the respondents 25 to 34 years of age shopped online from Asda for food and groceries, compared to 30 percent of those 65 and older.
