According to the survey among Chinese online shoppers, around 52 percent of respondents said they did not shop in live commerce because it was less flexible. Also, the excessive time consumption stopped 42 percent of the respondents from using live streaming shopping.
Major reasons for not shopping in live streaming sales in China as of June 2020
The survey was conducted among respondents who were:
40 percent male and 60 percent female;
20 percent from first-tier cities; 15 percent from new first-tier cities; 18 percent from second tier cities; 16 percent from third-tier cities; 17 percent from fourth-tier cities; 15 percent from fifth-tier cities.
