In the CEE region, Slovenia recorded the highest proportion of women who experienced physical or sexual violence from their partners. At the same time, Slovenia recorded the highest percentage of women who reported domestic violence to the police in 2018. The lowest rate of women reporting domestic violence to the police was in Estonia and Czechia.
