According to statistics published by the European Commission, the number of data companies are estimated at 290,000 in the 27 European Union countries and the United Kingdom in 2019, exhibiting a year-on-year growth of 2.3 percent. The number of data suppliers is forecast to grow in the coming years, reaching 334,360 by 2025 in the baseline scenario.
