Vaccines release volume in China 2013-2019, by category
In China, there are two categories of vaccines: category I and category II. Category I vaccines are under the public sector. They are compulsory vaccines and free of charge. Category II vaccines belong to the private sector. They are voluntary vaccines and made-for-profit. In 2019, about 346 million doses of category I vaccines and 223 million category II vaccines were released in China.
