According to a Capgemini survey conducted from December 2019 to February 2020, 68 percent of offline male respondents rated their ability to use a basic mobile feature phone highly. In contrast, only 52 percent of the responding offline female population thought the same.

Of the 5,000 surveyed respondents, approximately 1,300 were people who are currently not online via phone and face-to-face discussions and approximately 3,700 were surveyed via an online survey.
Respondents were from the following countries: France, Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States, and India.
