In 2019/2020, asked in a survey whether or not they would be happy to eat genetically modified products, roughly four percent of respondents 65 years of age and older strongly agreed that they would be happy to do so. The share of those who agreed strongly was highest among respondents from the 18 to 24 age group and came to 10 percent. In general a larger share of 18 to 24 year old respondents agreed overall (strongly and slightly) than respondents from any other age group.
