According to a survey on the perceived impact of the new visa policy in Saudi Arabia in 2019, 70 percent of respondents believe that the new visa policy will have a positive impact on the Saudi economy. On September 2019, Saudi Arabia launched a new e-visa program that facilitates travel from 49 countries to Saudi Arabia by applying for a visa in advance or on arrival.
