In 2019, private enterprises completed 10,290 dwellings more than in 2018. However, this industry still hasn't reached the levels of dwelling completion seen before the economic crisis of 2008. The private sector accounted for almost 171,890 dwelling completions, which represents most dwelling completions in the UK.
