Preference of payment method to access podcast content in the U.S.2020, by gender

Paying podcast consumers prefer to pay directly to the podcaster, rather than through the podcasting platform. A survey among paying American podcast users found that 59 percent of adults preferred to pay directly to the show over paying a podcast network such as Luminary. This preference is consistent when looking at gender comparison of payment methods.
