This graph represents the means of transport favored by the French in the city in 2017. We can thus observe that more than half of the French used most often car to move in the city, while approximately a quarter of respondents said they were walking around town. In addition, around two thirds of French people declared that they were safer when traveling in the countryside, compared to 33 percent who declared themselves to be safer in town.
