This time series shows the evolution of greenhouse gas emissions from L'Oréal plants and distribution centers from 2005 to 2020. In 2020, L'Oréal's activities emitted 46 kilotons of CO2, in absolute terms. Between 2005 and 2020, the group's CO2 emissions decreased by 81 percent, exceeding the 60 percent goal it had committed to achieve by 2020. Founded in 1909, the L'Oréal Group has become the largest cosmetics and beauty company in the world.
