In 2022, it was found that the vast majority of healthcare professionals surveyed in the European Union had a high amount of faith in the safety and importance of the seasonal influenza vaccine. In Estonia, Italy, and Slovenia, every healthcare professional agreed the flu vaccine is important to have and safe to receive. On the other hand, only 80 percent of healthcare professionals in Austria sad they would recommend the flu vaccine.

MMR vaccine refers to the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine.
Data shows the share of healthcare professionals in each country 'strongly agreeing' or 'somewhat agreeing' with the statements: 'The seasonal influenza vaccine is important' and 'The season influenza vaccine is safe.' and the share of healthcare professionals who responded 'highly likely' or 'somewhat likely' to the question: 'How likely are you to recommend the seasonal influenza vaccine to patients?'Â
* Approximately 100 respondents in each country. Around 80 percent comprised of general practitioners and 20 percent nurses.
