In 2023, the Russian energy company Gazprom reported its net loss at nearly 630 billion Russian rubles. Over the course of the whole previous year, Gazprom's profit attributable to shareholders reached over 1.2 trillion Russian rubles, marking a sharp decrease from the previous year. The 2023 figure was the lowest over the observed period.
