A survey on youth development in Saudi Arabia in 2019 found that approximately 15 percent and 13 percent of male and female students respectively stated that the difficulty level of their studies was the biggest challenge they faced in education. It was followed by the difficulty of reaching their school or university at approximately 4.6 percent and 5.9 percent for males and females respectively.
