According to a survey conducted by Vase.ai on Malaysians' shopping behavior during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, less respondents purchased household items between phase one and phase three of the MCO. 74 percent of respondents purchased face masks, hand sanitizers and disinfectants in phase three of the MCO, compared to 86 percent in phase one. The Malaysian government issued the (MCO) period for two weeks from March 18, 2020. It has been extended for the fourth time, to June 9.
