Share of marketing companies planning budget cuts due to COVID-19 in the Nordics 2020

Around 50 to 75 percent of the Nordic marketing companies responded in a survey that they are either planning budget cuts or they already cut budgets due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Almost 75 percent of the marketing companies in Sweden reduced their budgeted expenditures, followed by 70 percent of the companies in Finland. By comparison, half of the Danish marketing companies stated that they need to decrease budgets as a result of the negative effects of the coronavirus outbreak.
