Exports of goods from Latin America and the Caribbean were forecast to fall by approximately 23 percent in value in 2020, a result of drops in both prices and demand, following the coronavirus pandemic outbreak. The mining and oil sector is expected to be the most affected, with a decrease of 33 percent. Meanwhile, exports of agricultural and livestock products from the region are expected to grow by two percent in 2020.
