According to a survey conducted in South Korea in late 2022, around 34 percent of foreign patients in South Korea traveled with one companion. Nearly 27 percent traveled by themselves, while the rest brought multiple companions with them. Compared to the previous year, the share of solo travelers decreased drastically, down from 54 percent.
