The cancellation of festivals that were supposed to take place in Hungary in summer and early autumn 2020 was estimated to lead to a 442.72 billion forint decrease in the gross domestic product. An income loss of 28 billion forints was forecasted as a consequence of cancelled events in early summer 2020.
