According to a survey from April 2020, television news and newspapers were considered the most important sources for information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Finland. Almost 80 percent of the respondents said that TV news was their most important news source, while around 70 percent got crucial coronavirus-related information from the newspapers. Other commonly used news sources were radio (30 percent), and social media (18 percent).
