A survey conducted in 2020 on mobile gaming behavior during Ramadan found that 74 percent of Indonesian mothers said that they enjoyed playing games everyday. 46 percent of respondents also shared that they spent more time playing mobile games. In total, there are around 44.2 million mobile gamers in Indonesia. Ramadan in 2020 would be a different experience for Indonesians as they have been advised to stay at home and not embark on traveling to their hometowns, known as 'mudik', amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.
