Due to the restrictive measures imposed by the Romanian authorities to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Romania, an increasing number of employment contracts has been terminated. By May 28, 2020, nearly 600 thousand employment contracts were deferred, and more than 429 thousand were terminated.
