The week before the UK government announced nationwide lockdown measures in an effort to contain the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, online-only brands had a growth rate of 17 percent in their revenues, compared to the same period the previous year. This rate grew as high as 161 percent in the week ending May 17.
