According to the survey conducted by Ipsos between August and September of 2019, around 47 percent of respondents in India who were buying some kind of fish at least once a month said that fish being not on a list of endangered species was somewhat important to them. A majority of this sample said that the sustainability in catching or farming fish they consumed mattered.
