The number of consultations at general practitioners in Norway was generally higher for women than men in 2020 for all age-groups, except for the 0 to 5 year olds. The highest number of consultations for women was in the age-group between 30 and 49 years old with roughly 2.8 million consultations, while the highest number of consultations for men was in the age-group between 50 and 66 years old with roughly 1.6 million consultations.
