COVID-19 impact on sales of small and medium-sized companies in Finland 2020
According to survey results from March to May 2020, almost 70 percent of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Finland experienced decline in sales due to the coronavirus outbreak. By August 2020, the sales of companies improved, although 13 percent of companies still reported over 50 percent decline in sales. At the same time, roughly 42 percent of the companies did not experience decline in sales or in the number of customers.
In total, over two thirds of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Finland estimated that the coronavirus outbreak has already caused problems for their business.
