According to a survey conducted across 26 countries in 2023, respondents in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) spent the largest amount of money on South Korean pop music (K-pop) per month, at around 17.6 U.S. dollars. This was followed by the United States and Saudi Arabia about eight dollars each. That year, the average amount of money spent per month on K-pop worldwide was 4.5 dollars.
