According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on e-payment usage, the favorite e-payment service among South Korean respondents was Naver Pay, chosen by close to 66 percent of respondents. In the same survey, around 87 percent of respondents had made a transaction using e-payment methods.

The survey was conducted among 2,818 female and 3,426 male respondents. Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.
